Buckeye Brass & Winds is a full service musical instrument service and retail shop that strives to maintain the small town feel and one-on-one service.  Although we have only been open in our Dublin area location since 2007, our shop dates back to the early 1980’s when Ray Spillman opened Spillman Musical Instrument Repair in Delaware, OH.

Upon his retirement in 2007, Rob Phillips, a graduate of the Ohio State University, purchased the business from Ray and began expanding it from a repair shop to a full service repair shop and retail store.  We are now proud to service nearly all of the school districts and many professional musicians in the Central Ohio area and beyond.

Rob spent 11 years with Conn-Selmer in Eastlake, OH and his background in instrument design and manufacturing gives him a unique knowledge of the industry.  His over 25 years of experience in instrument repair and manufacturing has helped him to become one of the leading technicians in Ohio, and is highly sought-after for his expertise.  He strives to maintain the integrity and service oriented reputation that Ray worked to build.
