Policy

Buckeye Brass & Winds accepts many used instruments on Consignment for our clients.  While we frequently purchase high-quality used instruments or take them as “trade-ins”, there are times when it is not practical for us to purchase even very fine instruments. We evaluate each instrument on a case-by-case basis.

If you would like to place your instrument on consignment, simply stop in with your instrument to speak with one of our associates.  We will evaluate your instrument and work with you to determine an appropriate sale price.  If there is any repair or custom work you would like done to prepare your instrument for sale, we can help with that too.

We charge a 20% consignment fee for the sale of the instrument.  The instrument owner receives 80% of the final sale price.  Any additional services performed by BB&W to prep your instrument for sale will be deducted from the 80% at the time of sale.
