Schilke Music Products, founded in 1956, offers the highest quality professional line trumpets, trombones and brass instrument mouthpieces in the world. Renold O. Schilke had a strong desire to play and design brass instruments and mouthpieces at a very young age. During his tenure with the Chicago Symphony, Renold founded Schilke Music Products. Over a period of more than three decades, Renold designed instruments and mouthpieces that have not only revolutionized the brass instrument industry but are still considered, to this day, to be the very best and the first choice for professional players around the world. Many people refer to a Schilke instruments as “the jewel of the industry” for their beauty as well as high quality.

Schilke Music Products is dedicated to not only maintaining all Renold O. Schilke had created but also creating new designs that will inspire our future customers. We continue to work with our Schilke artists designing new models that offer a variety of playing characteristics. All of our newly designed models are manufactured with the same attention to detail and high quality Schilke is known for worldwide.

Currently, Schilke Music Products is located in Melrose Park, IL. We employ more than 30 personnel with virtually everyone having a brass performance or musical background. Every new craftsman we employ continues to be trained by veteran craftsmen to ensure all of our traditions remain intact and applied with every new instrument produced. We encourage any musician visiting the greater Chicago area to tour our facility and see highly skilled craftsmen employ time honored traditions that have been in place for more than 60 years.
