About Brillante Strings
Jacquie Stevanus, Artistic Director/Instructor
Brillante Strings provides a number of excellent opportunities for your student to develop skills as a string musician, from young beginner through high school.
Offerings include private and group lessons for violin students in the Suzuki method, as well as opportunities for home-schooled students to participate in one of three leveled orchestras, developing excellence in playing, reading, ensemble and musicianship skills on the violin, viola, cello, or bass.
Instruction and rehearsals take place in the Dublin/Plain City area, northwest Columbus, Ohio.
Instruction is provided by Jacquie Stevanus, M.Mus.Ed, who brings over 30 years of experience as a music educator. She is a member of the American Association of String Educators (ASTA), as well as the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA), holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music Education, and is a Certified Suzuki Violin instructor, having completed Teacher Training with Linda and Roger Steig, Ed Kreitman, Rhonda Cole; as well as Suzuki in the Schools Training with Dr. Laurie Scott and William Dick.
